vantage points — the footbridges that cross the river, the
paths along the river bank or one of the fabulous restaurants in The Old Mill.
It is our goal for everyone to have a fantastic race experience. We will have great prizes and awards and a fantastic post race experience that as always will include food and free beer.
›Olympic Triathlon: USA Triathlon Age Group National Race qualifier!
The top 33% of every age group will secure a spot to race in the 2010 USA Triathlon Age Group Championships on September 25, 2010. Visit the USATriathlon website for details about the national championship and qualification standards.
›The Center Foundation: Teaching, Training and Treating Central Oregon Youth
The Center Foundation is our event beneficiary. They will spearhead the kid's Splash & Dash on Saturday, July 17th and the youth triathlon on Sunday, July 18th.
The Center Foundation is a non-profit group based in Bend, Oregon. An active part of the community, the foundation exists to benefit school age youth in the areas of health, wellness and education within Central Oregon. As the philanthropic arm of The Center, the Foundation is fueled by the passion and dedication of world-class doctors who donate their time and expertise to Foundation programs.
The Foundation provides no-cost athletic training, education and treatment to Central Oregon youth through several school and community-based programs. Each year, the organization provides thousands of hours of service to the community in partnership with the Bend-LaPine and Sisters School Districts, Mt. Bachelor Ski Education Foundation, Special Olympics and more. The Foundation also sponsors annual student scholarships, athletic training fellowships and targeted medical research initiatives.
