Richard Albrow has a Chemical Engineering Degree from Loughborough University, England and 14 years experience in the Southern California bicycle retail business, as past general manager of Nytro, B&L and Supergo. A desire to help people train for health and sport prompted a career change after exposure to the training philosophies of the C.H.E.K. Institute through Chris Maund, an old friend and triathlete from his alma mater, who is now one of the top C.H.E.K. Certified practitioners in the world. Back in 1998, Chris wrote a corrective exercise program for Richard which lead to a 16th fastest marathon time in the 1998 Ironman.
